The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has a Code of Conduct. The NDIS Code of Conduct makes sure participants are safe. This is an easy read guide to the Code of Conduct and is available online or as a printable download.

Practice reviews contribute to safeguarding, and improving the standard of support provided to people with disability.

In 2019, the NDIS Commission engaged the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) to provide a report about the rates of death among people with disability and the causes of those deaths.
