NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services.
We regulate NDIS providers, provide national consistency, promote safety and quality services, resolve problems and identify areas for improvement.
The NDIS Commission is rolling out across Australia
We currently operate in New South Wales and South Australia only.
The start dates for other areas of Australia are:
1 July 2019: Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria
1 July 2020: Western Australia
Until the NDIS Commission starts operating in your area, your current state or territory requirements for quality and safeguards continue to apply. Find out more about the NDIS Commission national rollout by checking the map.
