Expressions of interest open for new Consultative Committee
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissioner, Tracy Mackey, is inviting Expressions of Interest from the community to join the NDIS Commission’s Consultative Committee.
The Consultative Committee brings together a diverse mix of stakeholders, including participants and their families, service providers, advocates and disability representative organisations, to represent the interests and different perspectives of people with lived experience of disability, including NDIS participants, and NDIS providers.
Its purpose is to connect people from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission with stakeholders to ensure that the voice of the participant is considered as part of the decision making process, as well as promote awareness and understanding of the NDIS Commission’s role and its activities. The Committee’s Terms of Reference are available on the Consultative Committee page of our website.
Expressions of interest for Committee membership close on 31 May 2023, and details of how to apply are available on our website . Appointments to the Committee will be made by the NDIS Commissioner by 30 June 2023.
