You can search the Provider Register which lists providers that have been registered with the NDIS Commission.
How to use this search
You can search for:
- currently registered providers, by choosing the Registration status ‘Approved’
- providers who have been banned or had their registration revoked, by choosing the status 'Revoked'.
If a provider's registration was revoked as part of a compliance action, the details will be listed at Search for banning orders and other compliance decisions.

NDIS Provider Register (Part 3): This register is an up-to-date listing of supported independent living (SIL) and NDIS Digital Platforms providers who are currently unregistered and have applied for registration. Under the transitional arrangements, providers who applied before 1 October 2026 may continue to deliver SIL and NDIS Digital Platform supports until a decision is made on their application for registration. Understanding if an unregistered SIL provider can claim payment under transitional arrangements
To be eligible to claim payment for supported independent living services:
- Column C: The progress of their application must be ‘Ongoing’ or ‘Approved’, and
- Column F: Their registration group status must be ‘Submitted’ or ‘Approved’.
Providers who removed supported independent living (SIL) during their audit
If a provider removed supported independent living during their audit, they may still be eligible to claim for the supported independent living services they provided before the registration group was removed.
To understand if a claim for payment falls into this category:
- Column F: Their registration group status will be ‘Removed’, and
- Column G: The date the service was provided is after 1 July 2026 and before the date in this column (the date the registration group was removed).
If the date the service was provided is after the date the registration group was removed (Column G), the claim is not eligible for payment.
Understanding the columns in the CSV files
These are the columns and data you will find in the CSV files.
Column A: Organisation ABN
The Australian Business Number (ABN) associated with the organisation.
Column B: Application submission date
The date the organisation’s application was submitted to the NDIS Commission.
Column C: Progress of application
The current stage of the organisation’s application with the NDIS Commission:
- Ongoing: Application has been submitted and is progressing. They are eligible for SIL related payments as long as they have registration '115' or '138' in a status of 'Submitted'.
- Approved: Provider's application has been approved by the delegate and is now a registered NDIS providers. If the provider has registration group '138' in a status of 'Approved', they are now a registered SIL provider with the NDIS Commission.
- Refused: Application has been refused by the delegate, and the provider is not eligible to claim for any SIL related services.
Column D: Progress of application change date
The date the application most recently changed to its current progress or status.
Column E: Registration group
The supported independent living related registration group associated with the application.
Column F: Registration group status
The current status of the registration group for the organisation.
- Submitted: Providers has applied and being assessed for registration group 0115 or 0138 and can claim for SIL supports and services.
- Approved: Registration group has been assessed and provider is approved to claim for SIL supports and services under 0138
- Removed: Provider removed either 0115 or 0138 from the application. They can no longer claim payment for SIL after the date the registration group was removed (Column H).
Column G: Registration group status removed date
The date the registration group was removed or ceased to have an 'Submitted' or 'Approved' status, where applicable.
