On 10 November 2025, a permanent banning order was issued to Angels Care Australia Pty. Ltd. under section 73ZN(1)(d) National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The banning order prohibits Angels Care from engaging in specified activities which include, but are not limited to:
1. engaging in activities that would be undertaken by a NDIS provider, including delivering supports and services, to the extent that those activities have a direct effect on the provision of NDIS funded supports or services to people with disability in the NDIS;
2. engaging in activities that would be undertaken by a consultant for a NDIS provider, to the extent that those activities relate to NDIS supports or services; and/or
3. engaging in activities that would be undertaken by an auditor for a NDIS provider, to the extent that those activities relate to NDIS supports or services.
This banning order takes effect on 24 November 2025 at 5:00pm AEDT and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.

On the 30 June 2025, a notice to refuse the application to be a registered NDIS Provider was issued to Angels Care (Australia) Pty. Ltd. on the basis that a delegate of the Commissioner reasonably believes that Angels Care (Australia) Pty. Ltd. has not:
• been assessed by an approved quality auditor as meeting the applicable standards and other requirements prescribed by the NDIS Practice Standards as prescribed in paragraph 73E(1)(c) of the National to Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act)
• demonstrated suitability to provide supports or services to people with disability as prescribed in paragraph 73E(1)(d) of the NDIS Act.
More specifically, the failure by Angels Care (Australia) Pty. Ltd. to complete a re-registration audit.
