On 19 October 2022, a suspension notice was issued to Forward Focused Group Pty Ltd, suspending the provider’s registration for a period of 30 days, effective 19 October 2022. The suspension of registration was issued on grounds provided under section 73N(1)(a) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013, in that a delegate of the NDIS Commissioner had formed a reasonable belief that Forward Focused Group Pty Ltd has breached the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and serves to mitigate any ongoing risks to NDIS participants. Conduct identified includes non-compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct through a failure to act with respect for NDIS participants’ individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making, as well as act with integrity, honesty and transparency. The NDIS Commission identified conduct involving threats, bullying and harassment of NDIS participants, as well as the submission of false claims for payment to the NDIS. On 21 November 2022, a further suspension notice was issued to Forward Focused Group Pty Ltd, suspending the provider’s registration for a period of 30 days, effective 21 November 2022. The suspension of registration was based on section 73N(1)(a) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013
