On 31 January 2024, a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 to prohibit Istarlin Hassan from being involved in the provision of supports and services to people with disability for 2 years, effective from 5:00pm on 14 February 2024.
