Compliance and enforcement actions

On 6 March 2020, a banning order originally issued on 28 August 2019 under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 was varied. The order was varied to change the 2-year ban into a permanent prohibition. As a result, Naushad Rayani is permanently prohibited from providing disability supports and services, either directly or indirectly, to NDIS-funded participants.
