On 7 July 2026, a conditional banning order was made under subparagraph 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 due to a contravention of section 73V (Code Of Conduct) specifically paragraphs 6(1)(c) and 6(1) (f), prohibiting Lisa Simone Johns from providing supports and services to persons with disability in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Specifically, the order prohibits Lisa Simone Johns from being engaged in the following NDIS activities:
a. Providing or being involved in or assisting in the provision, to any NDIS Participant, of any supports and/or services under a Participant’s Plan which involves unsupervised contact with NDIS participants, whether in a NDIS participant's home or elsewhere
• NDIS Participant means a participant within the meaning of section 9 of the NDIS Act; and
• Participant’s Plan means a plan within the meaning of section 9 of the NDIS Act.
This banning order takes effect on 21 July 2026 at 5:00 p.m. for a period of 2 years and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
