Compliance and enforcement actions

On 3 June 2026, a compliance notice was issued to The Trustee for My Gold Coast Care Group trading as MGC Care Group under section 73ZM(1)(b) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act) due to alleged non-compliance with section 73J of the NDIS Act, including failures to comply with the NDIS (Incident Management and Reportable Incidents) Rules, NDIS (Code of Conduct) Rules, NDIS (Provider Registration and Practice Standards) Rules, and NDIS (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support) Rules.

On 16 July 2026, the compliance notice was varied under section 73ZM(4) of the NDIS Act to extend the deadline for MGC Care Group to take the required actions to address the non-compliance.

The varied notice extended the deadline by which The Trustee for My Gold Coast Care Group t/a MGC Care Group is to take certain actions in order to address non-compliance with section 73J of the NDIS Act.
