Compliance and enforcement actions

On 24 January 2025, a compliance notice was issued to Your Choice Support Services Tasmania Pty Ltd under section 73ZM of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. 

The notice requires Your Choice Support Services Tasmania Pty Ltd to take certain action in order to address possible non-compliance with:

Section 73B(2) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (A person must be registered to provide a class of supports to a participant if, during the provision of supports, there is, or is likely to be, an interim or ongoing need to use a regulated restrictive practice in relation to the participant); and

Section 73V of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Code of Conduct s 6(c) - provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill).
