On 16 September 2020, a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Lisa Suwarni Towill from providing disability supports and services, directly or indirectly, to NDIS-funded participants for a period of 12 months, effective from 5:00 pm on 16 September 2020.
