Compliance and enforcement actions

On 30 January 2020, a banning order originally issued on 25 July 2019 under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 was varied. The original order prohibited Lisa Horton from providing disability supports and services, either directly or indirectly, to NDIS-funded participants for a period of 5 years, starting from 5:00 pm on 29 July 2019. The ban was amended, reducing the duration from 5 years to 3 years, with the 3-year period beginning from the original decision date of 29 July 2019.
