In mid-2024, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission appointed Elizabeth Broderick & Co (EB&Co) to conduct a review into the workplace culture at the NDIS Commission.
More than half of our staff participated in this Review and we acknowledge and thank them for sharing their time and insights. This is an important moment for the Commission and we continue to be committed to working together to build an organisation that is safe, inclusive and respectful for all employees.
As part of our commitment to change, we release the report, Cultural Review of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
The report makes 16 recommendations to strengthen culture, leadership, disability inclusion and organisational processes and systems. All recommendations have been accepted and will be implemented through our Culture Roadmap and Action Plan. This plan extends on the Commission’s existing program of organisational change to strengthen leadership, inclusion and accountability.
We are pleased to note that the Broderick Review found that recent significant investments in culture, systems, leadership and staff wellbeing have created a strong foundation for cultural change.
Message from Commissioner Louise Glanville and Associate Commissioner Natalie Wade.
