Compliance and enforcement actions

On 8 May 2025, a banning order was varied under section 73ZO of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013, to extend the current banning order expiry for a further six (6) months and will take effect from 16 May 2025.

The existing banning order for Mana Support is to be extended for a further six (6) months, during which time Mana Support are prohibited from providing supports or services to participants funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), specifically:

1. where there is, or is likely to be, an interim or ongoing need to use a regulated restrictive
   practice (RRP) in relation to the participant; or
2. where the participant has a behaviour support plan (BSP) that is lodged with the NDIS Commission.

This variation to the banning order will take effect from 5:00pm AEST on 16 May 2025 for a period of six months, ending on 16 November 2025 across all States and Territories of Australia.
