Compliance and enforcement actions

On 10 May 2023, a banning order was issued under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Andrea Cooper for a period of five (5) years, effective from 5:00 pm on 12 May 2023, from:

1. Providing disability supports and services, directly or indirectly, to NDIS participants; 
2. providing support, funding, guidance or assistance of any form that may inform the business operations of an NDIS provider, paid or unpaid; 
3. Making any contact with NDIS participants who received supports from New Chapters New Beginnings and the families of those participants; and 
4. Making any contact with persons who were employed or otherwise engaged by New Chapters New Beginnings.
