Compliance and enforcement actions

On 10 November 2025 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013.

The banning order prohibits Michelle Mellema from providing supports and services to persons with disability, specifically from: 

1. providing or personally being involved in the provision, to any NDIS participant, of any support or services under a participant’s plan; or 

2. engaging in any work or providing or performing any supports or services (whether paid or unpaid), for or on behalf of any NDIS Provider.

This banning order takes effect on 17 November 2025 at 5:00pm AEDT for a period of 12 months and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
