Compliance and enforcement actions

On 28 January 2026 a temporary banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Gary Ian Nixey from engaging in the provision of NDIS supports or services to people with disability in the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including but not limited to:

1. Providing or being involved or assisting in the provision, to any NDIS Participant, of any support or supports under a Participant’s Plan; and
2. Providing or being involved or assisting in the provision, to any NDIS participant, of any service or services under a Participant’s Plan.

This banning order takes effect on 31 January 2026 at 5:00pm (AEDT) and remains in force to 15 August 2035 and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
