On 29 January 2026 a banning order was made under section 73ZN (2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Jason Maurice Browne from:
• Being engaged, or otherwise employed, in any role where you are solely responsible for the provision of any NDIS supports or services to NDIS participants; and
• Having contact with NDIS participants as part of the provision of NDIS supports or services.
In this instance:
• Contact includes physical contact, face to face contact, oral communication, written communication and electronic communication.
The banning order takes effect for a period of four (4) years effective from 5:00pm (AWST) 12 February 2026 and operates across all states and territories of Australia.
The banning order was made on the grounds that a delegate of the Commissioner reasonably believes Jason Maurice BROWNE is not suitable to provide supports and services to people with disability, having regard to his relevant criminal history records.
