Compliance and enforcement actions

On 23 April 2025 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Gurcharan Bhathal from: 

1.Provide or be involved or assist in the provision, to any NDIS participant, of any support(s) or service(s) under a Participant’s Plan.

2.Engage in any work or provide or perform any support(s) or service(s) (whether paid or unpaid), for or on behalf of any NDIS Provider. 

The banning order is effective for a period of one (1) year from 05:00pm ACST from 16 May 2025, across all States and Territories of Australia.
