On 16 March 2026 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(b) of the NDIS Act of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Leanne Crowder for a period of five (5) years from being involved in activities associated with the financial management of any NDIS plans, including claiming for NDIS supports or services effective from 30 March 2026 at 5:00pm.
The banning order operates across all states and territories of Australia.
The banning order was made on the basis that a delegate of the Commissioner believes on reasonable grounds that Leanne Crowder is not suitable to provide supports or services to people with disability.
