On 8 May 2023, a banning order was made under section 73ZN(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 permanently prohibiting Orlando Nigro from being involved in the provision of supports and services, directly or indirectly, to people with disability. The banning order takes effect from 5:00pm on 15 May 2023.
