Welcome everybody. Today we're going to be looking at module one of the series of webinars for Residential Aged Care providers and this particular one is about accessing the NDIS Commission's portal, which is the first step in the NDIS registration process for Residential Aged Care providers.
Before you can actually log into the portal, you need to make sure Residential Aged Care providers need to make sure that you actually have PRODA access. If you're not familiar with PRODA, PRODA is an online authentication system used, so that you can securely access government services. On the NDIS Commission's website, there's a quick reference guide available if you need some guidance on how to actually get PRODA access. So, make sure you've actually got that because you'll need that before you can log into the Commissions portal as a registrant, to start your NDIS registration renewal application.
We've got a series of screenshots from the Commission's website that we're going to share with you now that shows you the steps in the process that you need to go through before you can basically kick start your registration renewal.
In this part of the portal, you'll see that you'll need to click on Portal and select the registered NDIS providers tab. Once you've done that, you then log in with PRODA and you'll select the tab for registered NDIS providers. You would've already been provided with your PRODA username and password. So, make sure you pop them in and then log in.
There will be a verification code for PRODA that's actually sent to you via SMS. So, simply enter that and click next. Then you'll see that you're asked to actually include your provider name and the Registrant role is required for you to log on and then click continue.
Finally, before you actually can get into the portal, you actually have to agree and to the conditions of accessing the portal. So, click I agree and now you're at the point you can actually start the renewal application process.
We have a module number two that provides you with information about what happens next. So, this particular webinar was short and sharp all around making sure that you've got PRODA access and by having that PRODA access it then allows you to go and actually log into the Commission's portal, allocate yourself, or someone as a registrant and then you're able to start the registration renewal process.
