Compliance and enforcement actions

On 20 November 2025 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The banning order restricts Marites Fajardo from handling or transacting personal funds or NDIS funds of a NDIS participant or provider. The banning order specifically, restricts Marites Fajardo from being engaged in the following NDIS activities: 

1. Engaging in any activity that involves access to, or administration of, any NDIS participant’s finances; 

2. Accessing funds or financial instruments held by or for the benefit of any person to whom a NDIS provider provides supports and services.

This banning order takes effect on 2 December 2025 at 5:00pm AEDT for a period of five (5) years and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
