Compliance and enforcement actions

On 23 September 2025 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The banning order prohibits Sunil Malik from being involved in the provision of supports or services to NDIS participants. Specifically, prohibiting Sunil Malik from being engaged in the following NDIS supports or services:

1. Provide, be involved or assist in the provision of, to any NDIS participant, any support or services under a participant’s plan.

This banning order takes effect on 10 October 2025 at 5.00pm AEST for a period of three (3) years and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
