Compliance and enforcement actions

On the 26 August 2025 a compliance notice was issued to Hayam Mohamed Abdalla Ahmed Hammad trading as Sphinx Support Services.

The compliance notice was issued on the basis that a delegate of the Commissioner was aware of information that suggests that Hayam Mohamed Abdalla Ahmed Hammad trading as Sphinx Support Services has contravened section 73J of the NDIS Act, in that it has conditions of its registration determined by the National Disability Insurance Scheme Rules as prescribed in section 73F(1)(c) and 73H of the NDIS Act.

Sphinx Support Services is required to take action to address non-compliance with regard to Governance and Operational Management, Risk Management and Human Resource Management as per Schedule 1 Clauses 9, 10 and 15 of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Provider Registration and Practice Standards) Rules 2018 and section 19 of the of the NDIS (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support) Rules 2018 (Behaviour Support Rules).
