Compliance and enforcement actions

On the 6 August 2025, a compliance notice was issued to Butter Fish Services Pty Ltd under section 73ZM of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act) on the basis that a delegate of the Commissioner reasonably believes that Butter Fish Services Pty Ltd has contravened section 73J of the NDIS Act. 

More specifically, the failure by Butter Fish Services Pty Ltd to comply with a condition of their registration under section 17 of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support Rules) 2018. The notice requires Butter Fish Services Pty Ltd to take certain action to address potential non-compliance with section 73H of the NDIS Act.
