Compliance and enforcement actions

On 1 July 2025, a Banning Order Variation was endorsed against Brandon Edward Angus Chesney under section 73ZN(1)(b)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 permanently prohibiting Mr. Brandon Edward Angus Chesney from providing supports or services in any capacity to people with disability. Specifically, Mr. Brandon Edward Angus Chesney is prohibited from being engaged in the following NDIS activities:

1. Providing any form of support or services to NDIS participants or people with a disability;
2. Being employed or otherwise engaged by any NDIS provider including being a sole trader in any capacity;
3. Being involved in the provision, management, or administration of any NDIS supports or services; and
4. Having any contact with NDIS participants in a professional capacity. 

The Banning Order takes effect from 5.00pm ACST on 10 July 2025 and operates across all states and territories of Australia.
