Compliance and enforcement actions

On 9 July 2025 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Daniel Hardegen, from being engaged in the following activities:

1. providing or personally being involved in the provision, to any NDIS participant, of any support or supports under a participant’s plan; or
2. engaging in any work or providing or performing any supports or services (whether paid or unpaid), for or on behalf of any NDIS Provider.

The banning order is effective for two (2) years from 5:00pm AWST on 17 July 2025 and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
