Compliance and enforcement actions

On 1 July 2025, a compliance notice were issued to Estia Foundation of Australia under section 73ZM(1)(b) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. 

The notices require Estia Foundation of Australia to take certain actions to address non-compliance with Section 73J of the NDIS Act 2013, specifically around failures to comply with the requirements of Section 73F(2)(c). It is alleged that Estia failed to achieve the standard for Governance and Operational Management by failing to demonstrate that perceived and actual conflicts of interest were proactively managed.
