On 9 September 2021, a banning order was made under section 73ZN(1)(c) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 permanently prohibiting Alhassane Hilmi from being involved, directly or indirectly, in the provision of supports and services to people with disability, effective from 5:00 pm on 10 September 2021.
