On 17 June 2021, a banning order originally issued on 18 January 2019 and varied on 15 January 2020 was amended again under section 73ZO of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The banning order was varied to make the ban permanent, effective from 18 June 2021. As a result, Steven Jon Bailey is permanently prohibited from being involved in the provision of supports or services to people with disability.
