On 13 April 2023, a banning order originally issued on 25 February 2022 was varied under section 100 of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The variation extended the prohibition on Simon Johnston from being involved, either directly or indirectly, in the provision of supports and services to NDIS participants until 14 March 2027 at 00:01 (AEST).
