On 29 November 2023 a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2A) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 permanently prohibiting Salwa Hasan from being:
- Key personnel as defined under section 11A of the Act for any NDIS provider; and
- Involved in the management of NDIS plan funds to people with disability, including in a consultancy capacity.
The banning order is effective from 5:00 pm on 8 December 2023.
