On 6 August 2022, a banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Paul Sephton from being involved in the provision of supports and services, directly and indirectly, to people with disability for a period of three (3) years, effective from 5:00pm on 11 August 2022.
