Compliance and enforcement actions

On 2 June 2025 a banning order was made under 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 prohibiting Rosemary Jane Hughes from:

• Being engaged, or otherwise employed, in any role where they are responsible for the provision of any NDIS supports or services to NDIS participants; and

• Having unsupervised contact with NDIS participants as part of the provision of NDIS supports or services. 

   

In this instance: 

• Contact includes physical contact, face-to-face contact, oral communication, written communication and electronic communication; and
• Supervision means direct and in-person observation. 

The banning order takes effect on 23 June 2025 at 5:00PM ACST for a period of four (4) years across all States and Territories of Australia.
