On 23 April 2025 a banning order was made under 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the NDIS Act of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The banning order prohibits Chantelle Veronica Roberts from being involved in the provisions of supports or services to people with a disability in the NDIS. The banning order restricts Chantell Veronica Roberts from:
- Being engaged, or otherwise employed, in any role where you are solely responsible for the provision of any NDIS supports or services to NDIS participants; and
- Having contact with NDIS participants without supervision, as part of the provision of NDIS supports or services.
In this instance:
- Contact includes physical contact, face-to-face contact, oral communication, written communication and electronic communication; and
- Supervision means direct and in-person observation.
The banning order takes effect from 5pm AWST on 23 April 2025 for a period of four (4) years, across all States and Territories of Australia.
