Compliance and enforcement actions

On 15 April 2025 a banning order was made under 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The banning order prohibits Jade Sarah VANDENBERG from being involved in the provisions of supports or services to people with a disability in the NDIS. Specifically, the Delegate made the order restricting Ms Vandenberg for a period of five (5) years from: 

1. Being engaged, or otherwise employed, in any role where you are solely responsible for the provision of any NDIS supports or services to NDIS participants; and
2. Having contact with NDIS participants without supervision, as part of the provision of NDIS supports or services. 

In this instance: 

• Contact includes physical contact, face-to-face contact, oral communication, written communication and electronic communication; and
• Supervision means direct and in-person observation. 

The banning order is for a period of five (5) years, effective from 5:00pm ACST 30 April 2025, across all States and Territories of Australia.
