Compliance and enforcement actions

On 12 March 2025 a permanent banning order was made under section 73ZN(2)(a)(i) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act). The banning order restricts Katerina Formosa from being engaged in the following activities:

1. Appointment as plan nominee of a participant under section 86 of the NDIS Act for anyone other than a person who is an immediate family member.

2. Appointment as correspondence nominee of a participant under section 87 of the NDIS Act for anyone other than a person who is an immediate family member.

The order is effective from 26 March 2025 at 05:00pm AEDT and operates across all States and Territories of Australia.
