On 16 June 2020, an original banning order issued on 19 June 2019 under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 under section 73ZN(2)(a)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 was varied. The banning order became permanent. As a result, Alaedine Rifai is permanently prohibited from providing disability supports and services, directly or indirectly, to NDIS-funded participants.
