Compliance and enforcement actions

On 30 January 2020, a banning order originally issued on 25 July 2019 under section 73ZN(1)(b)(iii) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 was varied. The original order had prohibited Kairos Services Pty Ltd from providing disability supports and services, either directly or indirectly, to NDIS-funded participants for a period of five (5) years, beginning 5:00 pm on 29 July 2019. The banning order was varied to reduce the duration from five years to three years, with the new period starting from the original decision date of 29 July 2019.
