Update on JPS Audit Specialists and transition of audit services

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) is writing directly to all providers affected by the voluntary administration of JPS Audit Specialists Pty Ltd (JPS) to ensure they obtain clear information about their options and audit requirements. Our priority is to ensure providers are not unfairly disadvantaged and participant outcomes are not compromised.

The NDIS Commission has now revoked the approval of JPS as an Approved Quality Auditor (AQA).

The administrator has confirmed that Global Compliance Certification Pty Ltd (GCC) has purchased JPS's intellectual property. Providers may receive information directly from the administrator or GCC.

All providers that previously used JPS will need to transition to a new AQA. Providers should consider whether to continue audit activity with GCC or engage a different AQA. Transitioning to a new AQA will not affect a provider’s registration.

Providers seeking tailored support can contact the NDIS Commission at registration@ndiscommission.gov.au or phone 1800 035 544.

The NDIS Commission is committed to maintaining strong regulatory oversight and accountability across the AQA Scheme. Only AQAs can assess whether an NDIS provider complies with the NDIS Practice Standards. See our website for more information about the quality audit process.
