Support for NDIS providers impacted by voluntary administration of JPS Audit Specialists Pty Ltd
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) is taking urgent and coordinated action in response to the voluntary administration of JPS Audit Specialists Pty Ltd (JPS) announced on 24 October 2025.
We are actively working with the appointed administrators to assess the impact on providers and ensure continuity of audit services. We are also developing guidance to support providers impacted by this situation. Further updates will be issued shortly. Following issuance of this guidance, providers directly impacted by this situation are encouraged to contact the NDIS Commission via registration@ndiscommission.gov.au for tailored support.
The NDIS Commission is committed to strong regulatory oversight and accountability for the Approved Quality Auditor (AQA) Scheme. We are engaging with Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JASANZ) and other regulatory partners to coordinate a national response.
On 21 October the NDIS Commission imposed conditions on JPS’s approval after serious concerns were identified regarding impartiality and conduct, including the promotion of consultancy services to providers undergoing audit. These conditions restricted JPS from conducting new audits, except where contracts and system linkages were established prior to 17 October 2025.
