State Director Western Australia

Samantha Jenkinson is Western Australia State Director. She brings to the role a wealth of experience in the disability sector, including case management, advocacy, research, and executive roles with the WA and Victorian governments and not-for-profit organisations. She also heavily campaigned for the establishment of the NDIS and participated on expert advisory panels with the NDIA.

Introductory provider information session (October 2020)

In this session, Graeme Head (NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissioner):

  • introduced and provided an overview of the NDIS Commission's role and function
  • outlined the new quality and safeguarding arrangements
  • explained how these will affect providers of NDIS funded services and supports in Western Australia from 1 December.

  • Your responsibilities: An overview of provider obligations, registration and renewals, the NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Practice Standards, Worker Orientation and how the NDIS Commission will support providers.
