Compliance and enforcements
Monitoring and compliance is important to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission’s work as a regulator.
The NDIS Commission uses a range of compliance tools to prevent breaches of the Act including education, and working closely with other complaints and regulatory bodies. The National Disability Insurance Act 2013 also provides the NDIS Commission with a range of compliance and enforcement powers, including compliance notices and court-based outcomes.
the NDIS Commission Compliance and Enforcement Policy provides more information about the approach of the NDIS Commission to achieve compliance with the Act, and outlines the compliance and enforcement functions, strategies and tools.
