The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services.
We are working with NDIS participants, service providers, workers and the community to implement a new nationally consistent approach so that across Australia participants can access services and supports that promote choice, control and dignity. Learn more about what we do.
The NDIS Commission is rolling out across Australia
We currently operate in New South Wales and South Australia only.
The start dates for other areas of Australia are:
- 1 July 2019: Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria
- 1 July 2020: Western Australia
Until the NDIS Commission starts operating in your state or territory, your current state or territory requirements for quality and safeguards continue to apply. Find out more about the NDIS Commission national rollout by checking the map.
